What type of massage do you offer?
Relaxation and sports massage are the core massage modalities. Can I have a male or female practitioner?
If you go to our on-line booking page, put in your postcode and a profile of the practitioner/s available in your area will be there for you to look at.
Do you bring the massage table with you?
Yes. We bring everything with us. If you have booked our corporate massage service, we can bring a massage chair (parking needs to be provided) or a portable desk top.
Do you go from desk to desk or do we need to provide a room?
We can do either – it is up to you.
If you are having the corporate massage program on a regular basis, and it is your first booking, then we suggest we go from desk to desk so that we can do a brief ergonomic assessment for those staff participating in your corporate massage program. After the initial massages are completed we suggest setting up in a room, as this allows staff the opportunity to really switch off and relax during their massage.
Do you use oil in the corporate massage?
No – we offer the use of a moisturising lotion made with active ingredients specifically for stress. The lotion does not leave an oily residue and is applied to the neck and shoulders to assist us to focus on this area, as this is the area where massage is most required when people are sitting at desks on computers for long periods of time.
Can I claim my massage through my private health insurance?
Yes you can claim with most of the private health funds if you are covered for Remedial Massage. Your practitioner will give you a receipt at the time of your massage, which you then give to your health fund for them to reimburse you. Please ensure that you complete the private health insurance question on the health record at the time of booking to ensure that the practitioner will have the receipt ready for you.
